aldrums, I got the Windows98 update installed and it started working. Maybe it was the same color....I didn't test that hypothesis.

Two Networked Computers with a single ADSL connection.
Anyone have any links or ideas on how to do this?

OK, nobody answered my question but I figured it out. I took the extra network card out of my primary computer and connected both computers via the netgear hub. Then I switched one of the ports on the hub from normal to uplink and connected a cable from that to my ADSL modem. Then I installed my ADSL software onto my secondary computer. Now I simply turn on my computers and log on separately to my DSL service. My DSL provider (Mindspring) automatically provides a separate IP address for each computer.

Thank God I figured that out. Now I can go back to trading.

Peace,

Alex

I use AllAboard modem sharing software to access the Web through a single connection from 3 computers. Works great and easy to setup. Just run the install and it handles everything. It works with any kind of line. I could never get the Win98SE modem sharing configuration to work. I ended up reinstalling Win98 to get my system to work again. I gave up and within 5 minutes I was up and running with AllAboard. Must be just me because there are users who have figured it out.
