heinz...with all the embargos in place with many importing countries, our grain market, in spite of the weather, have plenty to go around. Don?t look for the drought to move prices much, if at all.

It looks like current conditions are pretty dry in many
places, but I think that it is not "too late" for the
crops to recover with some decent rain..

heinz, Re:grain prices.

The growing season in the US is not normal. We did get some rain the the soybean and corn area and they were able to seed. It looks like the winter wheat crop is below average but ok. The corn here in Minnesota is going to have to go like heck to reach knee high by the 4th of July. IMO, the commodity prices are just sitting waiting for more data. I suspect that the hard wheat prices went through the roof this morning.
