You are correct in your assumption. What this industry has going for it, from an investment point of view, is there are "no" inventories. The increase in gas prices probably will take out another group of farmers this year, if prices stay low. I have been buying ADM below $10 and am willing to wait until the supply does not meet demand. My only hope is it happens in my life time. <g>

We were in France last June and they did not have sufficient wheat inventory until harvest. One of these days/years prices will go north.
