Wheat is a different animal. There is winter wheat, spring wheat and spring hard wheat (durum). Durum does not trade on the open market. As far as I know, it is only grown in a small area of Italy, small area in Russia and a small area in North Dakota & Minnesota. It is used for pasta. The Pasta prices should increase with this 7 inch rain in ND & MN. No more cheap spaghetti. <ggg>
