If long and short even how can you make any $$. Unless you go long or short one way?

The wonders of options.

He only loses out if the price stays fairly constant for a few weeks.

Like John explained, I bought out of the money puts and calls. A big move in either direction will make a lot of money because the options were cheap, but the upside potential is very large.

The best case scenario would be large swings, because I could profit on both sides.
