In Presidential elections, about three quarters of Orthodox Jews vote Republican. Among those few Hasidim who vote, the figure is nearly 100%. Among Conservative Jews, it is about a 50-50 split. Reform Jews are as inclined to vote Democratic as the Orthodox to vote Republican, and secular Jews are almost 100% Democratic. The reason the Jewish vote skews heavily Democratic is that more Jews are Reform or secular than Orthodox. From this I infer that anyone who is opposed to most abortions and concerned with the erosion of personal responsibility and family values would vote Republican. I would guess, therefore, that if he cared to vote, he would too. I don't see much choice between the Greens and Reds......
