Jeff, Oracle Japan would be a consolidated subsidiary since ORCL owns > 50%, so all B/S items would be added to all other parts of ORCL, and the difference accounted for as minority interest. You might look at Oracle Japan as a either a partial spin-off (like Liberate started out as) - or a mechanism by which Larry can paint another garage. <g>
