Still a major change for Intel....a year ago they wouldn't bother to preannounce if they weren't going to make their quarter let alone reassure anyone that things were fine.....even if those reassurances may be a bit questionable.

1. $1.87 eps
2. 2.1M K7 @ $225
3. 5.0M K6 @ $50
4. CPG Revenues = $723M
5. Memory Group = $365M
6. Total Revenues = $1,275M
7. Closing AMD stock price day after = $117
