Gottfried,

Thanks for the link. Landis has an excellent track record, especially with some of the smaller tech names(ie. he doesn't simply say Buy CSCO, Buy INTC) He takes bets on small tech companies he believes in like TQNT and CYMI and this strategy has paid off handsomely. I would much rather follow someone like Landis than someone like Brinker since listening to their advice may take you entirely away from the market. I have noticed many people who follow Brinker who now have no position(long) in the market and are Bearish, right after he made his Bearish call. These same people were Bullish only a few months ago(when Brinker was Bullish). The bottom line I think is to remain level-headed when those around you find it impossible to do so. Some people IMHO, need to take Brinker off of the altar where they have him, and remind themselves that his track record is really no better than many here on SI.

Just my thoughts,

Brian

G and All: Semi Equip. BTB at 1.30. Business is healthy but numbers may fall short of expectations. In a market where revenue momentum rules, these numbers may not make the grade.

Last month's bookings written down from 2731 to 2710 B. Not good when we have grown accustomed to write ups. Shipments written up from 1928 to 1985 B thus putting pressure on BTB. So last month's BTB written down to 1.37 from 1.42.

Sequential bookings growth of a little over 1% this month at 2745 from 2710 B (again, after being revised downwards). This slowing sequential growth and downward revision could be a red flag to some investors:
