Grace;

You raise some very valid points. I guess the issue is what will it take for the market to recognize the progress ATHM has made and reflect this in the company's stock price?

I think BNBN is another internet company in the same under -appreaciated-by-Wall-St-boat, which can't seem to get the rising tide to lift its boat (too many metaphors in 1 sentence can be dangerous).

S Pal

Grace - good post. That summarizes the main items to push us forward. Fund managers can't deny reality forever.

I can't help feeling that one of the things holding ATHM back has not been the value of the business but the fact that we just do not know how to do good PR and toot our own horn.

A classic example was today. There are 5 times a year when fund managers and investors turn their eyes to ATHM - the earnings reports and the shareholder meeting.

You would expect that ATHM (the leader in quality BB delivery) would take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate live streaming video and audio of the meeting along with 800 phone connection for those interested.

Instead, ATHM jobbed it out to a 3rd party. They only offered streaming audio. You had to have RNWK 7.0 to listen (I thought MSFT was a friend!). And, to cap it all off, the streaming audio failed. Everything loaded, the counter ran -but no audio. There were numerous complaints in the chat rooms.

If you were a fund manager or investor, what would you think? Not ready for prime time?

Grace: Thank you for your post. Great summary. Do you think that its time to buy 600 shares on margin?

"Now even the long time holders are disgruntled and disappointed even when all this good news comes out, day after day."

Hi Grace- It's confession time (even though Ah says I don't have to). I sold half my ATHM position last week. HLIT had fallen too low to ignore. I traded two of my ATHM shares for every one HLIT share. Actually the deal came out a little better than that. Like ATHM, I felt HLIT had corrected more than it deserved. HLIT is looked upon in a more favorable light by the Street. As Hiram Walker said a long time ago, "this company will win either way with the immense cable buildup." Plus, I believe it will bounce back much more quickly without earth-shattering news. I think that is what has hurt ATHM. Some great companies have seen their stocks really tumble. Investors know in time that those stocks will come back. ATHM is still speculative to many. It doesn't help that analysts rarely mention this stock.

Plus...I had some hefty gains that I needed to offset. It was a no-brainer to do that with ATHM.

I still read and enjoy all of the ATHM posts.
