earlie, couldn't resist. i bought a refurbed hp from ubid. check out these stats: amd 550 athlon 128 mb dram 8 mb video 30 gig hd 8x dvd cd-rw 56k modem nic win 98 various other software titles all this for $700 delivered. now, pray i don't EVER have to call hp customer disservice -ng- ps - added a well reviewed mv921 cpq 19" refurbed monitor for $235 delivered.

Earlie, Ash Hoc Committee is just relying on Compaq to win that $95 million lawsuit against Inacom so they won't have to subtract it from sales already made. <g> It is hard to believe that anyone can take these analysts seriously any more, but, then, I'm not sure the bulls really pay any attention to what they say. They just like them because they stand behind the herd and fire the pistols. As for me, I would love to see them all hooves and cow patties when the herd stampedes in the wrong direction. <g>
