Her laugh was beautiful. Mature and coquettish at the same time. Filled with love, sexiness, humor, intelligence, and an unspoken (usually - haha) promise of joys to come.

I remember her laughter well. Her voice was deep, almost masculine, but like George said -- Lauren Bacall-ish in a very sensual way.

I shall never forget her laughter, the laughter she shared with me, often in the wee hours of the morning, as we shared stories, our views on history, philosophy, politics, current events, the goings on at SI, whatever...

I would like to add my prayers for Edwarda, and her family and friends she leaves behind.

When there is love, any life is too short.

I only knew Edwarda by her posts on SI, but I appreciated the happiness she so willingly shared and inspired in her friends. I understand she had a way of making the joys of life contagious. No one who was acquainted with her could ever forget her charm and warmth. Many will miss her. And I will always think of her with fondness.

CBB,

I can hear the echo of her laughter ringing in my ears. When I posted earlier today about having had a passing thought of wanting to tell her something....I could hear her laugh at what I wanted to share with her...

Coby~

she was all of that

you put it so well

and no, she would not have been offended, but would have reveled in your description

she was flesh and blood

human and genuine

deliciously flawed

had a zest for life

was positive even when hurdles were thrown in her path

caring and warm hearted

a lioness when wronged or those she cared about were wronged

sassy

not letting you get away with one thing

when I think back, larger than life in many ways

oh, how I will miss her

I do already
