Doc,

Nice follow through on the fiber channel stocks. Strange, there is not block active on JBIC, EMLX, and QLGC. It might be alright if they have limited institutional support.

12:43 ET JNI Corp (JNIC) 37 3/4 +7 1/4 (+23.8%): Issue leading a rally in the fibre channel storage space, after exploding through key resistance at the $32 3/8 level. JNIC shares have surged 41% since being highlighted one week ago in Briefing.com's Trader's Edge section as a stock that should attract buying interest as a sympathy play on a breakout in Emulex (EMLX 72 7/16 +3 3/4) and Qlogic (QLGC 71 7/8 +7 29/32). Both issues experienced a breakout earlier in the week.

11:05 ET Nokia (NOK) 57 1/8 -3 7/8 (-6.4%): Note out of First Union Securities suggests that Nokia is beginning to visibly suffer in the U.S. due to its lack of any CDMA handsets; says fewer retail outlets are recommending Nokia handsets and that CDMA appears to be increasing in dominance in the U.S; says appeal of Motorola's (MOT 34 1/8 +11/16) is rising.
