Somebody on the board of Finch College? Ask him/her for details.

All I've been able to find out is that Finch College is no more.

" Finch College, New York, N.Y.
Opened 1900, closed June 1975"

closedcollege.bizland.com

The only other Finch college I've been able to locate is Finch College of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, and I doubt she would have taken a degree in Medieval History from there.

Also found this note in an alumni bulletin:

"Here's what Jane had to say: "After graduating from Friends, I attended Boston University and (the now extinct) Finch College.... "

fsnyc.k12.ny.us

Looks from this as though Finch is no more. If this is correct, it eliminates the scholarship idea, unless we want to find another college or do something for graduates of her catholic high school, if it still exists.

Can the person you refer to as a board member of Finch give us different information?
