The MSFT machinations is the best possible situation for bears. A cloud of uncertainty is always better to a bear than even predictable, bad, and discountable, news. Let them drag this chit out.

Good tidings for MSFT would bring that inverse H&S into play with a measured move to the top of the 4/11,4/12 gap. Yuck.
