CNXT - Anyone have any thoughts here.

I posted this over at the CNXT board - thought someone here might have some info.

I have been doing some comparison DD on AMCC, BRCM, and CNXT. Clearly CNXT is the valued the lowest (including taking into consideration the percentage of revenues from wireless and networking divisions.)

BRCM is an industry leader and innovator, but seems richly valued (I own BRCM.) AMCC seems too richly valued, especially considering 38% of their revenues last year were not from their communications products operations.

However, AMCC has some heavy hitter ties:

"Our customers include leading communications equipment manufacturers such as Alcatel, Ciena, Cisco, Lucent, Marconi Communications and Nortel as well as emerging communications systems providers such as Cerent (recently acquired by Cisco), Juniper Networks, Monterey Networks (recently acquired by Cisco), Nexabit (recently acquired by Lucent) and Sycamore Networks."

My question to anyone is: Do you know what (if any) relationships CNXT has with major communications players. I am mostly interested in their networking and wireless divisions, but I also feel that the set top box industry is ripe with growth.

Any replies are welcome.

Thanks all!

Paullie

Translation of Al Gore's statement on higher gas prices, "Quick, call the cops, somebody is making a profit!"

Sorry for the sarcasm, but judging by the percentage of Americans who need a half ton SUV to get their groceries, it's no wonder gas is expensive. When was the last time you heard someone bragging about how their car got great gas mileage. Maybe it's having lived in Japan where gas is around $3 a gallon, but I have no sympathy. Sure glad I work at home though. <g>

As for the Governor of Indiana, maybe that is a good policy, but it just reminds me of how politicians are more interested in using their governing powers to get themselves elected than for any other purpose. (A close second to getting their friends cushy government jobs)

I feel better now.
