It is my experience that the stock of companies in these situations invariably fall much further than investors initially expect. OTOH the stock will typically rebound much faster than investors fear.
I believe that the risk of buying citrix now is small (less than 20% downside over the next 2 months) and the reward could be substantial (100% return over the next 9 months).
