Not an especially strong field coming to Memphis this year for the FedEx St. Jude Classic (and I'm not even talking about Tiger), but we are playing golf this weekend! I'll be heading over along with my 7 year old daughter again this year to see the sights and watch professional golf in person. TV simply doesn't do it justice......and for those of you who have never seen a PGA event in person, you should do so if you can. You'll be surprised by lots of things......how easy the guys swing and still hit it a mile, how undulating most tour caliber course's greens really are that simply don't come across on TV, the sound of a well stuck golf ball as it passes by you, etc. I'll be sure to post my impressions and anything else of interest as the week progresses.
