Chic - Question is how long will it take for Linux to have the Scalability and RAS of a commercial OS - whether its Solaris, AIX, or HP-UX. HP announced that they had 2500 Developers working on HP-UX, 3 years ago they were mothballing any development on HP-UX. With Linux coming up from the bottom, the only one screwed here is Microsoft. The market is large enough to sustain Sun, IBM and HP for the forseeable future with CPQ being a wildcard if they can get Wildfire out the door - but I think its too late for them.
