C, i follow the endeavors regarding hydrogen as well, and no doubt that will be one of the roads we will travel. however, our current economic system is highly geared toward oil...to change this will probably involve a period of considerable upheaval, especially as i do not expect the necessary steps being taken in time. this is precisely due to the attitude that has evolved in the wake of earlier too gloomy predictions in the 70's that have now morphed into way too rosy predictions (regarding future crude oil supplies) that are still widely believed. imo only a real price shock will change these misguided beliefs and spur some action. good night, hb
