All I'm saying is if you keep poking something with a stick, it's going to try to bite you. IMO, there is much deliberate stick poking that goes on here. ANY religion or system of belief can be discussed civily with great interest by people of differing beliefs -- until the value judgements (of the religion OR its followers) begin. Real wars have been started. Why go there? M

The desire of anyone to force any other people to live under the law's of any religion- that's just not something I'll ever approve of. I agree. But I want to expand that thought from religions to any belief system. I am just as concerned about fringe environmentalists, for example, trying to force me to live under their laws as I am by fringe religious groups. Fanaticism to force any belief system on me, whether or not it is based on a divine being, offends me.
