Hello SNDK enthusiasts. I'm kicking myself for not clicking on my buy order @ 62.5 just two days ago! Really, I was going to get it then. This will be a $200 stock by year end. Consider that this year we may actually see digital camera sales exceed film camera sales (in the US) - or at least seriously close the gap. Memory cards will be required to operate all of the consumer level models, and thank God the camera manufacturers typically include only the minimum mb capacity card with the unit! The day after X-mas you will not be able to find any high-capacity memory cards in stores, and it probably could happen BEFORE X-mas! Also, memory cards will start spreading like wildfire as new models of memory card dependent MP3 players, cellphones, picture frames, games, etc., etc. roll out - and let me tell you there will be ALOT of these products with great diversity. Memory cards have an inherent "sexiness" to them also - the 007 factor. (OK, maybe MD is sexier because of the shininess of it.) I mean, it's like, "I have a secret the size of the Encylcopedia Brittanica and the Bible combined and it's all on this tiny, little, solid state card concealed somewhere on my body." Wow! Will 1GB ever fit on a pea? And Sony has totally blown it AGAIN with MagicGate IMHO. In this case MB stands for "Millennium Beta". So that eliminates a formidable competitor. (Sony should've just ACQUIRED SanDisk and kept the standard open - wake up!) Fundamentally, the company is making solid earnings and has a ridiculously low PE for the sector. For the second half of the year - flash memory will be THE sector and SNDK will be 200! Sorry so long...
