djb, let's dissect this little article... the header reads... "The prices for 128Mb DRAM microchips have risen in Asia and Europe" we go to the body and we read prices fell in the n america by 3.47% and only rose .71% in europe and .50% in asia. the net effect? a DECREASE in worldwide dram pricing. funny, that isn't the headline, though it is the truth. keep in mind that emachines has said to be cautious due to a glut in built boxes... each containing dram...
