I sure have NO problem with our laws being Equal justice FOR ALL. that's the reason I see this ""hate crimes"" crap as just politics as usual, and I AM surprised that so many Rep. Senators jumped ship on this deal. Thank goodness our Tx. Senators voted against it. As I said, can anyone tell me what possible difference federal intervention could have made in Mr. Byrds case...unless.....unless......the government intends to be involved in suing the perps families out of existence..... or maybe suing the maker of the truck?? etc etc
