Jim, re: <I do not think that this is a very good forum for this kind of discussion.>
What the heck are you talking about? If the assumption is the memory chip makers will cave to the IP demands, and this is now the driving force of valuation, this shouldn't be an issue?

So educate us. <g>
Are you the "hall monitor" for the thread? <g>

Jim,

I do not think that this is a very good forum for this kind of discussion. Not very many people here have a clue as to what is involved in patents. Too many would have to be educated. A separate thread should be set up for that if that is what you want to do. Scumbria showed a surprising ignorance in this area.

RMBS stock price is all about patents and IP. The fact that patent discussions make you uncomfortable is no reason to not discuss the key factor in the stock pricing (on this Rambus investment forum.)

A lot of people suffered as a result of BILOW's posts.
Their wallets are a lot thinner if they believed his posts.

Carl has given much valuable information about DRDRAM and SDRAM/DDR. Have you seen the i815 benchmarks?

If it wasn't for the Toshiba announcement on Friday, the stock would probably be in the toilet right now. Deal with reality Jim, this IP discussion is going to escalate.

If a person made an investment decision based upon what a stranger posted on an Internet bulletin board, they deserve to have a thinner wallet.
