Rupert -

Auric and I go way way back - all of about 6 months... from the ELON thread. After I established a large position around 11 during Q4 99 - he proceeded to perform similar antics on the ELON thread as he does throughout these boards. I have taken the liberty to constantly remind him my results :)

Not that I have anything against shorts - in fact I will short if the situation looks right - but the manner and tactics he uses to broadcast his "ambitions" lack both credibility and decency.

WFII isn't mentioned in the June 2000 Gilder Technology Report (GTR) (to which I subscribe and which just came out on-line). It focuses on storage this month, and he has added Procom (PRCM) and StorageNetworks (STOR) (which is an IPO next week) to his telecosm technology list. The report was written June 16, 2000, so it was kinda pushing it for them to be able to do the research and write-up on WFII in time for the the June report. Here's a link to one of the postings that started it all:

Sounds like the June GTR was probably finished before they started looking at WFII.

Maybe we'll get mentioned in an upcoming GTR issue. ;)
