heinz, just out: looks like OPEC will raise production by ~ 400,000 barrels only.
This according to reports from oil-ministers leaving the meeting.
This is far less than the 500,000-1,000,000 hoped for.

Most importantly, it will not significantly lower prices
which may actually go up, because:

-oil refineries are working at full capacity already.
-it means that they will have to postpone their
normal pre winter retooling tp produce natural gas
for winter.
-that means there will be a shortage, higher prices, for
winter energy.

Just no let up in energy prices..........

Now it is time for BLS to go fishing and find
the proverbial
dip in oil prices to sample.

BTW, what bait does BLS use?
Do they fish at night under a flash light?

:-)
