I think people who really want to be "good" (and I think Clinton did) and don't have the strength to be "good" and also lack the fortitude to be "bad", are very pathetic. I'd much prefer a man who said- "Sure I had blow jobs in the oval office. And I LIKED them." I wouldn't approve, but I'd appreciate the honesty. I always tell my children things are ALWAYS better (if you think you are going to get caught)if you tell the truth. What I don't tell them is that if you can escape getting caught lying is better- but that's SO hard to do when more than one person is involved. And everyone seems to know that intuitively anyway. What people DON'T seem to be able to do very well is weigh the odds on whether they will be caught.
