Kurt: While you are in lurk mode, check out the financials as the downtrend continues. BKX at 755 with 750 as support. I see as many sellers at the ask in the financials as there are listeners to Brinker's show!! "E" concerns rule there.

KurtSS,

I take it you have selected reading skills or your reading comprehension is equivalent to that of a third grader.

Re: equity vs. money market returns over a short-term basis

I absolutely agree with you. My comment was in response to Dipy who said "...people could have made more money in a money-market account or CD than in the Dow/S&P500/Nasdaq/Total-stock market YTD."

Re: Bob has always stated that his focus is the long term, and that most of his timing activity is long term in nature also.

Again, I agree 100% with you. So why did Bob gloat when the S&P was down a mere 7% within 3 weeks of his sell signal? I doubt that was the reason for the sell signal.

Re: crystal ball

We're in agreement yet again. That is why market timing is not possible on a consistent basis. You can't say that he is human when he fails and he's the man when he is right. Bob does not like to say he was wrong, that would be bad for business. He prefers maintaining the image that he is the man.

Best Regards.
