Tuesday June 20 07:47 PM EDT Neil Young, Pretenders to Tour Neil Young is hitting the road for the second time this year to promote his new acoustic album Silver and Gold. This time out, Young has tapped the Pretenders -- who performed at his annual Bridge School benefit last year -- to open up for the entire tour (except for his annual appearance at Farm Aid, which takes place on Sept. 17). Accompanying Young onstage this outing are his old cronies, Spooner Oldham, Ben Keith, Jim Keltner and Donald "Duck" Dunn. Young has also asked both his wife Pegi and sister Astrid to furnish back up vocals. The tour kicks off on Aug. 8 in Virginia Beach and hits twenty-four cities. Tour shedule: dailynews.yahoo.com
