I agree with your perspective on this issue -- particularly if Intel determines that it would like to invest in some additional fabs and/or other strategic investments. AAPL has been criticized for its comparatively rapid divestiture of its stock holdings (ARMHY, AKAM) which of course then kept going up, however, many of these highfliers were shot down in April. I wonder what AAPL will do with its cash ($10+/share post-split) which is enough to build a fab!
