With the additional attention provided by the breathless Gilder recommendation and the fact that if this prices at the midpoint of the proposed $17-$19 offering price it will be a $1.5 billion company even _before_ it starts trading (88,500,000 total shares multipled by $18), STOR seems to be shaping up IMHO as one to avoid for individual investors considering buying on the open market, at least on the first day. Too many of these high profile IPOs in the last six months have been absolute disasters for individual investors (PALM, LNUX, FMKT, CRFH, to name a few horrors).

Reading Gilder is like reading a religious tract. You either believe or you don't, and what you read isn't going to make you change your mind one way or the other.
