Less downside risk was one of the reasons I have used ABX in my XAU/AU trading strategy as opposed to other XAU components.
If my timing was off I could always hold on to it and wait for the next bounce.

ABX has held up very well since the last gold peak (May 4th) and has outperformed NEM.
Today's drop in NEM, however, is starting to make NEM look cheap. Was 1.5xABX, now is 1.26xABX

As for me, I dumped some of my ABX trading shares at 19.25 and am looking for a place to buy them back.
