Redman, have you added to your position in here? The next step for me will be to double up my current position. If I gain more confidence in the stocks quick return to 40. I may go for it and try to make a 200% return on the run from 20 to 40. I see this possibility setting up, that is why I am excited about this situation. What interests me about the Citrix story is that some really interesting dynamics are in place. One, there is still a large focus on the stock. Two, the individual is in just as good a position to act as the big boys, because right now they are out of the stock and we aren't.That means people with savy can get in before the crowd. This stock is wants return fast to 40, on good news. I think the market's concern is to make sure that the reason for the fall off in sales isn't related to the competion, not just getting the execution of large sales right. I wouldn't be supprised if some sales were lost to SCO, because they have had a very aggresive loss leader campaign to grab marketshare form Citrix. Part of Citrix's sales forces problem in the quarter, may have been how to overcom the fact that Sco's product was cheaper and had features Citrixs product didn't. Also from Jan-July, SCO's was giving away 9 seats for every 10 Citrix seats a customer would give up. SCO's aggresive marketing plan is not a sustainable business plan, but rather a short term attempt to grab market share. Interms of merger considerations Anytime Citrix can find a smaller co. with technology that would significantly enhance their product they should buy or somehow partner with that co. Any way I agree with others here that Citrix is the only co. in its niche that is really properly set up to serve the big boys needs, interms of the total package they have built. MS's latest announcement of a more open approach, I think is a positive developement Citrix, because MS is looking stronger again. I just doubled my original position.
