Turkey looked very good to me and that penalty was ridiculous.

Anyway, Spain pulls out a miracle win in injury time but the Yugos still advance with the loss. And Milosevic continues to blast the opposition<g>

The Yugos have a third red card in three games!! And an Albanian fan (pretending to be a Yugo fan) goes in the field and tries to get to a Spanish player..hoping to get FIFA to disqualify Yugoslavia<ggggg>

Euro2000-Injury time goals give Spain 4-3 win

By Kevin Fylan

BRUGES, Belgium (Reuters) - Spain produced one of the most astonishing comebacks of all time to beat
Yugoslavia 4-3 and reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2000.

Trailing 3-2 with just five minutes of injury time to go, Spain scored twice to pull the match out of the fire. Gaizka
Mendieta slotted home from the penalty spot and then with just a minute left Alfonso fired home from 12 metres.

At the end of the match a Yugoslav fan ran on to the pitch and made for Alfonso but he was escorted away as news
reached the ground that Yugoslavia were also through because Norway had been held to a 0-0 draw by Slovenia in the other group C game
in Arnhem.

Spain, needing to win to be certain of a place in the quarter-finals, twice came from behind to get back to 2-2 and looked favourites after the
sending-off of Slavisa Jokanovic on 62 minutes.

But it was Yugoslavia who scored again when Slobodan Komljenovic poked home from close range after the Spanish defence had failed to clear a corner after 75
minutes.

Pep Guardiola and Alfonso both went close as Spain piled forward in the closing minutes but it looked to be all over until the disadvantage of being down to 10 men
finally told.

Spain had showed great character after falling behind to a Savo Milosevic header in the first half and a brilliant strike from Dejan Govedarica at the start of the
second as they replied each time, first through Alfonso and then thanks to Pedro Munitis.
