The only problem with that Tom is that now there is an arbitrage play between NEM and BMG, where one could expect shorts in NEM and buying in BMG in anticipation of a better bid.

But the merger is being called accretive, so that could alter the scenario.

Btw, I wasn't making some kind of prediction that gold would fall to $150, since for most of its history, gold has been a controlled substance and not permitted to trade freely. So I recognize that long term chart on the POG could be easily skewed either way.
