No, Aristotle's observation was not accurate. As I already stated, he was not perfect, but he is a shining example of an objective-minded human struggling to make rational sense of a sometimes confusing universe.

His mistake was honest, whereas the typical mystic would try to convince others that frogs do miraculously erupt from mud even if they personally discovered that the initial observation was in error.
