(Like making the guy's handgun a bit harder to get in the first place). One of the MOST publicized cases recently was of course Mr. Byrd, who was dragged to death behind a pickup with a chain.....shall we get safety locks for pickups, chains, or racists? Another was the lady who buried an axe in the chest of her victim, shall we register meat cleavers at the local Sears now? If I am mistaken, it is illegal to use a handgun for reason of murder. Registering them will not stop the fact that people are selfish and are going to kill others to get what they want.
