I'll take that. it's just hard to convince me that this pebble is actually shiny. use GG's own words: "NTAP will win the largest margin, revenue and dollar growth" "With a faster accumulation of units, PRCM's cost will drop faster and its performance will become increasingly competitive"

I just think that the low end NAS solution is going to have so much competitions from all fronts (computer makers, disk drive makers, linux box makers), I don't see how PRCM can stand out giving its poor track record. Again, the technology itself maybe disruptive in the coming years and it all depends on how much performance it can improve over time versus the high-end. Cost advantage will only be the path for exploring new markets, not "invade NTAP's space".

Actually Gilder also said:
"NTAP will win the largest margins, revenues, and dollar growth....etc"
I think he is saying NTAP will be good for now and the incoming two or three years, but PRCM is a play for years beyond that. It means if you have extra dry powder, it wouldn't hurt to have some PRCM, but NTAP is running the show now.
