...and,

I think some people forget that Bob has "a radio show to run". I relate it to interviewing for a job, every time he is on the air. He has chosen to be a radio personality, as one of his vocations, and in that business, if you are to succeed, you need to sell yourself to a degree. Admitting fallibility once in a while, which he does, is understandable. But, it's also understandable that Bob would focus more on his successes. Why?

1. His successes way outnumber his mistakes, both in
quantity and magnitude.

2. People tune in for the first time every weekend.
Shouldn't Bob make sure they know, that overall he
is doing a great job?

3. There is a vocal minority that is always ready to harp
on his few mistakes.

So, does Bob have a larger than average ego, and does that show through on the air once in a while? I would say yes and yes and deservedly so.
