June 21, 2000 Presentation Paper Highlights X-CAL RESOURCES LTD ("XCL-T") - Presentation Paper Highlights A paper that describes the Sleeper Gold Project in Nevada as well as the history of X-Cal Resources Ltd. has been published. The following paragraphs are excerpts from the paper. * The major companies are consolidating. They have large annual reserve replacement requirements. The investment in gold mining and related infrastructure in Nevada by these companies has been substantial. Post consolidations, even larger annual reserve replacement requirements must be met for these companies to sustain production. For this reason, Sleeper is one of the most important projects in the State. There are few projects that have the documented potential to satisfy the requirements of these giants. * The history of extreme high grade at Sleeper is well known to people who are knowledgeable about Nevada's gold mines. Assays as high as 195.0 opt were returned from blast holes 20 ft. in depth when they were drilled into the Sleeper vein in the Sleeper Pit. Twenty-ounce per ton material was common. Armed guards, stationed to protect the high grade ore, greeted visitors who toured the mine when it opened in 1986. Capital costs were paid off in six months. Ounces were produced for US$47.00; three years later the cash cost was US$103.00 per ounce. * The facts are: * History of extreme high grade * The structural and geological setting for multiple deposits * A significant gold resource * A large relatively untested mineral system exists at Sleeper.
