I've been seeing a lot of Gateway commercials for their low end Celeron line. I am sure that Intel is helping to foot the advertising bill. It's funny, because I would bet that a lot of people that call in response to the ads will be directed to an Athlon PC. Thanks Intel. And thanks for producing demand for 1 Ghz processors without being able to ship them.

I don't have a link, but I believe it has been stated that by the end of the year DDR would only be 3% more expensive than SDRAM. Quad data rate (QDR ??) is supposed to have a small premium over DDR. This is a far cry from DRDRAM.
