"You have made a good decision by divorcing yourself from this stock regardless of how it works out. This is a good lesson for you about holding for the long term and how that can be just as specious as short term trading. If something doesn't work, get rid of it. There is always something better to buy. Always."

Hi Ah- Yes...one should never be "married" to a stock. I've always heard that, but never heeded the advice. Lesson learned.

"I wouldn't have gone into HLIT because it is still going down."

Right again, Ah. That was evident today...without news. I recognized there could be further downside and was prepared for it. It could go to $30 or less. I am just pleased to have bought at 38 instead of 138.

There is one thing, probably the most noteworthy thing I have learned since following and joining this thread. You are not all bad, and I am not all good. I have come to admire and respect you. Some of FAC's fine attributes are rubbing off on you. We are all changing.

Take care,
Ed

****OT****Ah's reply written on 6/2100: "I wouldn't have gone into HLIT because it is still going down. You're thinking in terms of "it's cheap". It's cheap all right and likely therefore to get cheaper. Your next lesson is about buying dear, buying stocks that are headed up. That isn't easy to determine. You have to learn to buy a stock that is coming out of a base. There's plenty out there."

Hi Ah- Geesh...couldn't you have been a little more forewarning like, "GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT DAMN STOCK!!!!" What a birthday present I received today! My body is beginning to look like those Alaskan salmon (all scarred up) that fight the mighty currents and battle their way back to their birthing stream. I'm the same way, trying to get back to my cost basis! Oh well, like they say, "when bottom fishing you usually end of with stinky fingers."

I do appreciate the PMs I have received in sympathy of my HLIT purchase. I will let you all know when I invest again, so you can short that particular stock.
