Well, saving money is pretty safe content. I'll look into it further... If true, assuming one continues to make money, having a call spread around each year (growing with your assets) could delay tax gains again and again, until you're ready to extract the funds... much like a 401(k) is sheltered. This must be too good to be true... but I'll see what can find out via my tax guy and the web. p.s. It did kinda look like you jumped down enzyme's throat in that posting... especially given that he was on the money, even, in hindsight, according to intel management. Doug
