Great read, engineer. I'd have been happier if it had been posted on the 3GPP website rather than CDG <gg>. Fascinating theorems about T's and AWE's dilemma and as to how the carriers' perception of whether voice or data carry the day may influence the choice of technology. I'm sure Director of Technology Nelson (who rebutted the Gilder/Vigilante piece in the WSJ) must be squirming at the thought that someone in his camp may be seriously looking at 1xrt. Steve
