Inexperience shows -- worked with alot of physicists. They are a crazy brilliant lot, publish or perish mentality -- but not for publishing press releases. Because of lack of publicity, I was surprised at where HighWave opened and how much it went up. Broker has not told me what I paid for HighWave. Hopefully, it was not above the close. Also bought a Swedish company Net Insight. The company look interesting and stock was really cheap. Of course, they just split 5:1 (before I bought in). Think my broker bought the foreign stock and not the OTC symbol NGHTF, 'cause they came back and said $5K minimum order, so I now own several hundred shares! Last trade on the CF(crazy fool)symbol, NGHTF, was in mid to late May, so I think they bought thru the foreign desk. I have another board, Crazy Fools Chasing Stocks w/5-letter Symbols Ending in F, which is where I file foreign stock info (and other junk) that I find of interest. I was originally playing with Hong Kong stuff, but have found HK really volatile. Burned badly on a couple of those back door, shell listings. Merry

Geoff, Have you looked at this one recently? It closed today in Paris above US$95. The JDSU/SDLI deal is driving the French and UK optical stocks crazy! I was looking for HighWave to get a boost from Opticom at the end of July -- IMO the JDSU etal. deal has outdone any positive news from Opticom. Now we just have to figure out who is looking at HighWave, Bookham, and IQE. Have you seen anything about gnnettest? It may come to Nasdaq as IPO.
