OTI wonder if Compaq or others ever studied whether, in retrospect, the cost of paying out their small dividend was offset by the widened pool of potential investors? Compaq had such a high management turnover they probably never had anyone in place long enough to work that out! I wouldnt mind betting that they still provide this paltry dividend though, becaues otherwise they might have a bunch of mutual funds dumping them. [If in fact there are any funds crazy enough to buy Compaq that is] Joe
