I discovered a long time ago that the beach just wasn't the same when one is hooked up. Sure, I still like pretty girls, but I am not going to ogle a lot with my wife around, and certainly I will not flirt or pursue. Suddenly, the beach per se, the sand and sun beating down, and cold, cold water (until late August), loses a lot of charm. Sand everywhere, the glare, the risk of sunburn---- but I still like being near the beach, and on it for limited periods, like a stroll by the water at sunset.......
