Great explanation and I agree with your conclusions.

That's what I think has happened this month. A B2B of 1.30 is still very very good.

One way to look at this... with compounding, a Book-to-Bill of 1.3 means that a company can add 1 yr of shipments (AT CURRENT RATES!) to its backlog in about 3 months. That is incredible to me. 8)

Thank you for your explanation. However, isn't it possible for growth to occur because of sequential increases in billings that are proportionate to increases in bookings?

I.e., a stable, or even somewhat declining, b to b may still reflect significant growth?
