There is a whole lot of DARPA stuff here and much of the work done under these contracts is Foundation stuff for commercial applications. Where else can you learn that SUGAR molecules are floating around in Space clouds! Lots of new material science stuff all foundation for new economy, too often folks miss the importance of Material sciences when putting together their portfolios, everyone is focused on PC and telecom, some of my best ideas and investments are in new materials.
